High‑speed multi‑launch coaster. Transfer required. Queue not ECV‑friendly. Scooter parking near single rider entrance.
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Robotic arm dark ride. ECV allowed through castle queue (wide but sloping). Transfer to moving walkway at load – team members assist. Scooter stored and returned.
Jurassic Park River Adventure
Water drop ride. ECV accessible queue (outdoor, wide). Transfer to boat. Scooter waiting at exit on same level.
Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge‑Rat Barges
Rapid river raft. ECV to loading turntable. Transfer to raft. Expect to get wet – cover your scooter seat.

Slow spinning dark ride. ECV can board directly (fold‑down door, flat floor). No transfer needed – most models fit.

3. Volcano Bay™ – Scooter & ECV water ride guide
No in‑park rentals – plan ahead
Volcano Bay does not offer ECV rentals. You must bring your own. We deliver free to your Universal hotel. Pathways are smooth concrete.
Kopiko Wai Winding River (lazy river)
Transfer to a tube required. Scooter parking at each entrance. Mild current.
TeAwa The Fearless River
Fast current river. Transfer required. Not recommended for guests with limited upper body strength.
Waturi Beach (wave pool)
ECV park on concrete edge. Do not enter water with scooter. Accessible beach wheelchair available at guest services.
Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Slides
Two‑person raft slides. Transfer required. Accessible entrance via elevator to the top.
4. Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) – Scooter & ECV guide
Haunted houses (10+)
ECV only to house entrance – you must transfer to a park wheelchair inside (narrow hallways). Scooter parking monitored by staff.
Scare zones
Fully accessible – stay on your ECV. Wide, flat paths. Keep speed low.
Shows (Nightmare Fuel, Marathon of Mayhem)
Dedicated ECV viewing areas near front, accessible via ramp. Arrive 20 minutes early.
Battery tips for HHN
HHN runs 6:30pm – 2am (7.5 hours). Our ECVs have 10+ hour batteries. For day+night use, rent a second battery from us.

Smooth, flat surfaces. Ride: Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge – ECV allowed in queue, transfer to ride vehicle required (low step‑in).
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
Fyre Drill (water ride) – ECV queue, transfer to boat. Dragon Racer’s Rally – coaster, transfer required.
Dark Universe – Monsters land
Curse of the Werewolf (indoor coaster) – transfer required. Vampire’s Kiss (dark ride) – ECV can board directly (carriage vehicle).

How do I rent a Mobility Scooter for Universal Studios Orlando?
Booking is Easy! Choose a scooter by clicking here then tell us where you would like the scooter delivered and at what time and we will be there! Simple as that!
Does Universal Studios & Islands Of Adventure have scooters at the parks?
Yes, the theme parks do, but they are on a first come first serve basis meaning there is no way to guarantee that you will have a scooter or ECV. Unlike Universal Studios Orlando or Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay does not have any scooters available for rent at the park. It is also important to note that you cannot take the mobility scooter rentals from the park to your hotel. At Scooter King, you have the freedom to take the rental scooter wherever you like at almost half the price!
How long should the battery last?
We knew when founding a mobility scooter rental company in Orlando that one of the most important characteristics of our mobility scooters had to be battery life. That's why at Scooter King Orlando we made sure every rental scooter & ECV we have for rent comes with the largest batteries available. You should have no problem getting 10 hours on our scooters and depending on the rider's weight and driving characteristics you can get 15‑18 hours. It is important to charge the mobility scooter nightly.
What happens if the electric convenience vehicle (ECV) we rented breaks down while out at Universal Studios?
Most issues are something simple that can be fixed easily by visiting this page. But in the event there is a failure of one of our rentals at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, or Volcano Bay we will come to the park and swap you out with a new mobility scooter.
Can the rental scooters use Universal Orlando transportation?
Yes! All of our Universal Orlando rentals can utilize all park transport like the buses and boats. The 450‑pound capacity scooters can be a little more difficult to get onto some of the park transport so it is recommended that you only rent that scooter if it is necessary.
Do you deliver to my Universal Orlando Resort?
We are proud to say we are a Loews Hotels preferred mobility rental provider offering free delivery & pick‑up to all 8 Universal Orlando hotels. In fact, we also offer free delivery to all hotels and vacation rentals within 15 miles of Magic Kingdom. This includes all Disney hotels, Kissimmee, Championsgate, and Davenport!
Do I have to be present for pick up and delivery?
With us being a preferred partner for mobility scooter rentals for Loews Hotels, you do not need to be present for pick up or drop off for any Universal Orlando Hotel! When you arrive the rental ECV will be waiting for you and when you are done just give it back to the bell staff or valet. The rental process has never been easier!
What is a "must see" at Universal Studios Florida?
The Diagon Alley attraction is impossible to miss for anyone. The amazing theme zone enables you to retrace Harry's steps through London before reaching the hidden Diagon Alley. During your vacation, be sure to get a magic wand in Ollivander's wand shop or grab some mash in The Leaky Cauldron. Diagon Alley also hosts Harry Potter's Escape from Gringotts and a dragon that breathes fire! Driving your electric convenience vehicle through Diagon Alley will make you feel like you are in another world.
