Do the local theme parks have mobility scooters for rent at the parks?

Yes, the theme parks do, but they are on a first come first serve basis meaning there is no way to guarantee that you will have a scooter or ECV.  Disney scooters are $50 a day with a refundable deposit, keep in mind you will not be able to park hop with the scooter. Universal Studios Orlando or Islands of Adventure offer in-park scooters, Volcano Bay however does not have any scooters available for rent at the park. It is also important to note that you can not take the mobility scooter rentals from the park to your hotel.  At Scooter King, you have the freedom to take the rental scooter wherever you like at almost half the price! 

How long should the battery last?

We made sure when Scooter King was founded that every ECV & Scooter we rent comes with the largest and best batteries available. With our many theme parks like Walt Disney World & Universal Studios Orlando, you are going to need a big battery to see it all. Our scooters should have no problem doing at least 10 hours on a single charge and can even do 15-18 hours depending on the driving habits & weight of the rider. It is recommended that you do not do Epcot & Animal Kingdom on the same day as they are both very large parks. It is important to charge the scooter nightly.

What happens if the electric convenience vehicle (ECV) we rented breaks down while out and about in Orlando?

Most issues are something simple that can be fixed easily by visiting this page. But in the event there is a failure of one of our rentals at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal Studios, or any of the other parks we will come to the park and swap you with a new scooter. 

Can the rental scooters use theme park transportation?

Yes, all of our Scooters are able to take advantage of Orlandos theme parks transportation. Whether you plan on using Magic Kingdoms monorail or Universal Studios busses we have you covered!

Do you deliver to my Location?

We offer free delivery to all hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals within 15 miles of Magic Kingdom. This includes Universal Studios Hotels, Disney Hotels, I-Drive hotels, and vacation rentals in Championsgate and Kississimee.

Do I have to be present for pick up and delivery?

This will depend on where you are staying in Orlando. For Disney-themed hotels. , Disney requires that the scooter be dropped off and picked up directly from you. The only exceptions are Shades of Green / Swan & Dolphin / Hotels that surround Disney Springs. For Universal Orlando Hotels we are a preferred Universal Lowes Hotels ECV provider and you do not need to be present for pick up or drop off. For Vacation homes in Kissimmee, Davenport, or Championsgate, you do not need to be present.
