Disney Resort transportation
All Disney buses, monorails, Skyliner gondolas, and boats accommodate ECVs (max width 30 inches). Bus drivers will secure your scooter. Monorail cars have designated spaces.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Hard‑ticket event (Aug–Oct). ECVs allowed on all rides and in parade viewing zones (reserved area near Frontierland). Boo‑to‑You parade has accessible viewing.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Holiday event (Nov–Dec). ECV friendly throughout Magic Kingdom. Reserved viewing for parades and fireworks. Keep your scooter charged – event runs 7pm–midnight.
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Fall festival. Crowded, but ECVs can navigate with caution. Use the “Festival Passport” app to find less congested pathways. Outdoor seating near booths often has accessible tables.

How do I rent a Mobility Scooter for Walt Disney World?

Does Disney World have scooters at the parks?
Yes, all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom®, Epcot®, Hollywood Studios™, and Animal Kingdom®) offer ECV rentals, but they are on a first‑come, first‑served basis – there is no way to guarantee availability. Unlike the theme parks, Disney Springs and the water parks (Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon) do not have rentals. It is also important to note that you cannot take park‑rented scooters back to your hotel. At Scooter King Orlando, you have the freedom to take the rental scooter wherever you like at almost half the price!
How long should the battery last?
We knew when founding a mobility scooter rental company in Orlando that one of the most important characteristics of our mobility scooters had to be battery life. That's why at Scooter King Orlando we made sure every rental scooter & ECV we have for rent comes with the largest batteries available. You should have no problem getting 10 hours on our scooters and depending on the rider's weight and driving characteristics you can get 15‑18 hours. It is important to charge the mobility scooter nightly.
What happens if the ECV we rented breaks down while at Disney World?
Most issues are something simple that can be fixed easily by visiting this page. But in the event there is a failure of one of our rentals at any Disney park (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom), Disney Springs, or a water park we will come to you and swap you out with a new mobility scooter.
Can the rental scooters use Disney transportation?
Yes! All of our Disney World rentals can utilize all park transport including Disney buses, monorails, the Skyliner gondolas, and water taxis. The 450‑pound capacity scooters can be a little more difficult to fit on some buses, so it is recommended that you only rent that scooter if it is necessary. All our standard ECVs fit easily.
Do you deliver to my Disney Resort hotel?
Absolutely. We offer free delivery & pick‑up to all Disney Resort hotels (value, moderate, deluxe, and deluxe villa resorts). We also deliver to Good Neighbor Hotels, the Disney Springs Resort Area, and all vacation rentals within 15 miles of Magic Kingdom – including Kissimmee, Championsgate, and Davenport!
Do I have to be present for pick up and delivery?
For Disney Resort hotels, you do not need to be present for drop‑off or pick‑up! We coordinate with bell services. When you arrive, your rental ECV will be waiting for you (usually at the bell desk or in your room). When you're done, just leave the scooter with bell services or valet. The rental process has never been easier!
What is a "must see" at Disney World?
There are so many, but Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom is a top pick. The floating mountains, bioluminescent plants, and Avatar Flight of Passage (a 3D motion simulator) are unforgettable. At Magic Kingdom, don't miss Cinderella Castle, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Festival of Fantasy Parade. At Epcot, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the World Showcase are must‑do. Driving your ECV through these lands is a magical experience you won't forget.
