Boulder Ridge Villas offers a range of accommodations, from home-like villas to studios. Room types include Deluxe Studios (sleep up to 5), 1-Bedroom Villas (sleep up to 4), 2-Bedroom Villas (sleep up to 8), and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas (sleep up to 12). All villas come with a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and separate living and dining areas. Deluxe Studios have a kitchenette and a sleeper sofa.

The spacious layout of the villas makes storing and charging a mobility scooter very easy. The separate living areas provide ample floor space to park a scooter overnight. Accessible villas are available with roll-in showers and other features — request one with Disney when you book. Disney asks that mobility devices not be left in hallways or walkways, so plan to store your scooter inside your villa.

The pathways at Boulder Ridge Villas and the surrounding Wilderness Lodge are wide, paved, and flat, making them easy to navigate on any of our scooters. A short, covered outdoor walk connects the Boulder Ridge building to the main Wilderness Lodge. From your villa, expect a short ride to:

There are no steep hills or stairs on the main routes. The only thing to watch for is pooling water after a Florida afternoon storm — pavers near the pools can be slick, so slow down on turns.

Guests at Boulder Ridge Villas have a unique set of transportation options. The most popular is the complimentary boat launch to Magic Kingdom, which is just a short, scenic ride away. The boat dock is a short scooter ride from your villa. Disney's watercraft are wheelchair- and ECV-accessible.

For other parks, Disney bus service is available from the bus stop at the main Wilderness Lodge. Buses run to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, the water parks, and Disney Springs. All buses are equipped with ramps or lifts.

Disney's published maximum mobility device size is approximately 32 inches wide by 48 inches long. All Scooter King Orlando scooters fit within this limit, including the Premium models. Most buses carry only two devices at a time, so plan an extra 10–15 minutes at peak times.

Can I take a scooter on the boat to Magic Kingdom?
Yes. Disney's watercraft between Wilderness Lodge and Magic Kingdom are wheelchair- and ECV-accessible, with ramps and designated securement areas. All of our scooters fit within Disney's published size limit.

Which scooter should I choose?
If you ride the boat or Disney buses, the Premium Scooter with Sunshade is the easiest. Driving your own car? Take the 400 lb scooter. Small car or switching hotels? The 300 lb folds in seconds. The 200 lb is the lightest for short days, and the 500 lb bariatric model is for guests over 450 lbs.

How long does a charge last?
About 6 to 8 hours on the 300 lb, 10 to 12 hours on the 400 lb, up to 12 hours on the Premium, and an 18 to 20 mile range on the 500 lb.

Where do I keep the scooter in my villa?
Inside your villa, not in the hallway. Folding models tuck beside the bed, and you can plug the scooter in overnight so it is full for the next park day. The spacious villas provide plenty of room.
