How do I rent a Mobility Scooter for Disney World & Universal Studios?
Booking is Easy! Choose a scooter by clicking here then tell us where you would like the scooter delivered and at what time and we will be there! Simple as that!
Do Disney World and Universal Studios have scooters at the parks?
Disney World: All four theme parks (Magic Kingdom®, Epcot®, Hollywood Studios™, and Animal Kingdom®) offer ECV rentals on a first‑come, first‑served basis – no guarantee. Disney Springs and the water parks (Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon) do not have rentals. You cannot take park‑rented scooters back to your hotel.
Universal Orlando: Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure also offer ECV rentals (first‑come, first‑served). Volcano Bay does not have any scooters available for rent. Park‑rented scooters must stay inside the parks.
At Scooter King Orlando, you have the freedom to take your rental scooter wherever you like (parks, hotels, Disney Springs, CityWalk) at almost half the price of in‑park rentals!
How long should the battery last?
We knew when founding a mobility scooter rental company in Orlando that one of the most important characteristics of our mobility scooters had to be battery life. That's why at Scooter King Orlando we made sure every rental scooter & ECV comes with the largest batteries available. You should have no problem getting 10 hours on our scooters and depending on the rider's weight and driving characteristics you can get 15‑18 hours. It is important to charge the mobility scooter nightly.
What happens if the ECV breaks down at Disney World or Universal Studios?
Most issues are simple and can be fixed easily by visiting our support page. But in the event of a failure at any Disney park (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom), Disney Springs, or any Universal park (Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, CityWalk) we will come to you and swap you out with a new mobility scooter. We cover all major Orlando theme parks.
Can the rental scooters use Disney and Universal transportation?
Disney: Yes! All Disney buses, monorails, Skyliner gondolas, and water taxis accommodate ECVs (max width 30 inches). Bus drivers will secure your scooter.
Universal: Yes! All Universal buses and boats also accommodate ECVs. The 450‑lb capacity scooters can be more difficult on some transport – we recommend renting that only if necessary. Our standard ECVs fit easily on all systems.
Do you deliver to my Disney Resort or Universal Orlando hotel?
Absolutely. We offer free delivery & pick‑up to all Disney Resort hotels (value, moderate, deluxe, and deluxe villa resorts) AND all Universal Orlando hotels (Endless Summer, Cabana Bay, Sapphire Falls, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, Portofino Bay). We are a preferred mobility rental provider for Loews Hotels (Universal).
We also deliver to Good Neighbor Hotels, the Disney Springs Resort Area, and all vacation rentals within 15 miles of Magic Kingdom – including Kissimmee, Championsgate, and Davenport!
Do I have to be present for pick up and delivery?
For Disney Resort hotels and Universal Orlando hotels, you do not need to be present for drop‑off or pick‑up! We coordinate with bell services. When you arrive, your rental ECV will be waiting for you (usually at the bell desk or in your room). When you're done, just leave the scooter with bell services or valet. The rental process has never been easier!
What are "must‑see" attractions at Disney World and Universal Studios?
Disney World: Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom (floating mountains, Flight of Passage). Magic Kingdom: Cinderella Castle, Pirates of the Caribbean, Festival of Fantasy Parade. Epcot: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and World Showcase.
Universal Studios: Diagon Alley – retrace Harry's steps, get a wand at Ollivander's, ride Escape from Gringotts, and watch the dragon breathe fire! At Islands of Adventure: Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure and the Hogwarts Castle projection show. Driving your ECV through these lands makes you feel like you're in another world.
